Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as moisturising as I would wish I have used a Botanics moisturiser for years, and always been extremely pleased. However, I couldn't find the one I usually use, and having used this one, I shan't do so again. Once it is on the skin, it dries completely, and makes it quite difficult to apply other make-up on top.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No good for dry skin I bought this cream because it promised hydration, and I'm a big fan of organic, paraben free products. However, I suspect this should only be marketed at normal skin types. I have drier skin, particularly on my forehead and nose, and after applying this cream it feels moisturised for about 15 minutes before drying out. This doesn't work for me, but the price means I wasn't too gutted about wasting money; I agree with the principles behind the formula and hope that it works for people with more normal/combination skin types.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My skin feel hot after use I struggle with my skin, dry, rosacea, psoriasis and sensitive. I feel I have tried a million products to try to calm my red blotchy skin. I cleansed with the calm botanics range (not great I'm afraid) and then applied this to half of my face and to the other half a natural skin salve I bought elsewhere. The botanics side of my face feels quite hot, and a bit uncomfortable, especially compared to the other side which is a natural cranberry based salve which I can't tell is on. I was hoping to see which improved my face the most, but the heat is too much so I think I'll be stopping before I've started!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely Moisturizer I have dry sensitive skin so always on the look out for new moisturizers. I was very impressed with this one (the only one with organic credentials in my collection). It has a really nice thick texture but spreads really nicely with a pleasing clean scent and works well under my BB cream. My only slight criticism would be that I don't think it really lasts beyond 12hrs, but my skin is dry so maybe it does for normal skin. Straightforward, unpretentious packaging.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great I love this whole Botanics range, and this product is calming with a nice, gentle fragrance. I think it is quite moisturising, but my one complaint would be that it "sits" slightly on the skin rather than being fully absorbed. It would be better, perhaps, as a night cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hope that they never stop making this I've spent the best part of a decade trying to find products that didn't make my skin spotty red and dry (and I'm only 26!). Once I realised my skin was actually quite sensitive I got rid of all my harsh washes and artificially fragranced oil-free moisturisers and looked for new products. I bought this because of it's high level of organic ingredients and because it was cheap enough to take a gamble on. The oils give the cream a really wonderful smell and it sinks into my skin and leaves my complexion matte. It doesn't cause redness or irritation and the occasional blemish seems to heal much quicker than they did before. I've been using this with Philosophy Purity wash (which is a really excellent gentle cleanser) for about 8 months now and my complexion has never been better. I thought some of the damage I'd done to my skin over the years was irreparable but even old scars and blemish marks seem to have gotten much fainter. Would highly recommend.
