Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luxury product for a fraction of the cost I was surprised at the texture of this product, I expected it to be less oily. But once I started massaging it onto my face I was pleasantly surprised. The scent is lovely and its great to massage into your face, it makes the whole cleansing process feel much more like a treatment than a chore. I had a slight panic as I tried to remove the balm with just water as it didn't seem to be moving but as soon as I used the cloth it massaged off nicely leaving my skin feeling so soft. After a few days the texture of my skin has already improved. Please don't be put off by the oiliness of this product. It is definitely worth the extra effort to remove with the cloth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like....but I love these types of cleansers. Feel they really nourish my skin. It is very relaxing massaging this all over my face (i do use it on the eyes aswel!) but it does take a while to remove it. I use a flannel as I feel the cloth provided is flimsy. It does leave a bit of a film in the sink so have to scrub the sink afterwards! Would def buy again & I got it on offer tol!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for facial massage This is a lovely product, and a nice treat for your skin. I like to use it for facial massages lasting up to 20 minutes. It leaves my dry skin feeling really nourished. Love the ingredients list, too. I've recommended it to several other people.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good but not brilliant. I am usually a Liz Earle C&P user or Elemis Cleansing Balm user but I wanted a more affordable alternative and I had hoped this would be it but although it is good it isn't brilliant, it cleaned my face and left it feeling refreshed but washing the balm off of your hands using just water turned it into a thick gloppy mess and I had to use hand wash to get it off completely. Might have this in my beauty storage as a back up but it isn't the first balm I will will grab for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for sensitive skin - Small pack size compared to other balm cleansers/ overpriced - does not emulsify so difficult to remove - loaded with irritating/ allergenic/ phototoxic essential oils and their components. The new Botanics Hydration Burst Dual Action Cleanser is a far superior oil-based alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as good as the top brands I have oily skin and have been using the 'Hot Cloth Cleansing' routine for years now and have no issues whatsoever in fact, my skin has got a lot better for it. One thing I noticed with this product that it was a lot more 'oily' than the other creamy oil textured cleansers, but that didn't bother me much, it just meant that I had to rub it into my skin a bit more. I use about a pea size amount, rubbed into my palm and then onto my skin. When I use these type of cleansers, I always use a face flannel or baby flannel ( Sorry I find the cloth provided a bit too thin). I find these to work so well with taking off the cleanser from the skin and also good for getting rid of the dead skin cells. I always use hot ( not scolding) water and always place the cloth into a bowl or sink for a few seconds, to soak up the water, wring out the cloth until it feels damp, place the cloth onto the whole of my face for a few seconds to help melt the cleanser and then sweep the cloth all over face, concentrating on my nose and chin area as it gets so oily. I then rinse the cloth, repeat again and my skin is soft without any oily feeling and I can put on my moisturiser straight afterwards. I have now been using this for just over a year and I haven't had a issue with breakouts or anything - even in hot weather, so it gets a 10/10 from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing for massage I don't know about the others, but this smells divine for me. I just love using it for a long facial massage and I can really fell asleep after it. It surely cleanses really well. I remember several of my blackheads actually came off when I used it (not every time though). The texture is also lovely. It left the skin really moisturized ad cleansed. However I am little confusing about how to take it off. I think you really need to work with the cloth, it really helps to get all of it out. It works wonderfully for dry skin as well as for combination skin like myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value cleansing balm I don't use this every day but rather in the evening if I've worn a full face of make up all day or my skin is in need of a really good cleanse. I don't use the muslin cloth but a flannel removes the balm really well and leaves my skin feeling very soft and nourished. This balm lasted me for quite a while so the value for money is excellent here when you look at the price of similar products on the market.
